I can’t explain how much they just make this story soooo adorably sweet. Don’t get me wrong—there is steamy times too—but if I could have love like this I’d be a happy girl. I loved that there was little to no angst and this this was really just a fluffy love story with hot sex scenes. Nyx and Patrick fit each other so well. This was truly a great addition to the series. But that's almost a given for Emma Alcott's and Piper Scott's books. Such real characters. So much good dialogue. Only the cover. That's really not how I envisage any one of the mc's. • 3.0 out of 5 stars from Shelly -- Okay : I have to say in the beginning I was frustrated with both main character's. No one can be as oblivious as Aaron (Nyx) surly? And I wanted to shake some confidence into Patrick (Miller). It got a little better as things progressed and I did laugh out loud in places but overall I felt the plot dragged a bit. I just wanted more from these characters. I will continue with this series and I do think its worth the effort but considering everything i'm not sure i'll even remember this book by the time book 3 is out. Loved Aaron's being totally oblivious to his family or friends comments. Patrick is a cutie.
